Originally from a small city in Michigan, so still have a bit of the mid west values and mindset in me, and then came out to SoCal at the age of 10. Pretty much half raised in each locale. Became a big city girl but now older and appreciate the small city ways and the simpler way of life. An absolute believer in karma & the law of attraction as I've seen it come around to myself and others both in a positive and negative way.

I like to take in live music when I can, anything from the dive bars to the arena shows. Cultural type things when I have a chance like plays,comedy shows, museums, movies in the park (or even at a cemetery in Hollywood).
As you may see above - hockey! Loving the Center Ice package, which helps with getting the hockey fix inbetween going to actual games.
Starting to get back into volunteering - mostly want to work with environmental things such as beach clean up and also with animals. More getting to being environmentally conscience, organic/whole foods and living.
Other things I like: Follow Your Heart cafe/store,Whole Foods, tea/non fat latte, wine tasting, just discovered hiking and maybe taking it up more, 99 Cent store, Big Lots, animals (with a perference towards cats, lol), pet stores. For food - lately been on a kabob craving, also like Mexican, Italian.

Here to keep/get back in touch with friends, discover new things, music and new people. Maybe along the way to find that someone to walk along in life with. No need for drama or toxic friendships/relationships - been there/done that. Mostly looking to meet positive people and just get out enjoy what life has to offer. Music varies from Celtic Women to NIN and just about anything inbetween. Top of the list are Matchbox 20, Stevie Nicks, Richie Sambora (please please make a new album!), John Mayer, Jamie Cullum, Goo Goo Dolls, and many more. I have XM on a lot at work, get both my Oprah and hockey fix all day!

Books by Diana Gabaldon, Anne Rice, Edward Rutherfurd, the Harry Potter books. Magazines - National Geographic, O, Body & Spirit. Got stacks of books waiting to be read thanks to listening Oprah - currently reading A New Earth - Eckhart Tolle.

Heroes:

My Grandmother, one of the most amazing people in the world. All my parents, for their love and all they have done for me. And my friends without whom life wouldn't be the same.
