This MySpace originally started out as just a thing to pass the time. But as with all things, personalities and tastes change and develop, interests become hobbies become passions become livelihoods. As an artisan, I cross many avenues of creative impulse and design, but most recently, writing is what I love to do.
For the past year, I've been trying to get my writing up to a level where I think people could appreciate and intake what I have to say through chapter-driven formats. I'm now inspired to begin writing my own book. I will still post short-stories that I use to keep my mind fresh, but I want to save the surprise for when it's all done.If you'll take the time to look around the page, you'll see different interests, film, books, art and music. I hope to keep the page updated with as many fresh and new ideas as I can provide.
Thank you, and enjoy,
Aaron C.

These are my digital artwork pieces. They've mostly been made with the images in my head from my writing. In my past, I've been one of the last people to advocate the use of digital media as a legitimate fine-art form. The more that I immerse myself in it though, the more that it feels like a natural technique with limitless possibility.
This is a small piece from Garrett Rhodes that gives a short and interesting take on the city of Centrala, Pennsylvania. The city was subject to a coal fire deep underground, causing the population to leave behind standing buildings and structures, leaving it a ghost town so eerie, it was the inspiration for Roger Avary in the film Silent Hill.
This is a short film from the mind of director and animator Ben Arthur entitled "In The Woods With Julian". The footage was shot unscripted, and puts forth one of my strong beliefs - children have an awareness about them that contains a truth that we need to listen to more often.
Another film by Andrew Huang entitled "fluxis". Utilizing static shots with ancient LED technology and splicing them in with modern computer animation and filters fills your eyes with color. A follow up to one of my favorite works, 'Doll Face'.
