As I said earlier, I'm interested in stuff. Stuff ranging from music to videogames, from peoples rantings to deep conversations about growing hair. I also think transformers are retrotastic!I also believe this a good enough place to say, Dimarzio guitar pick-ups are the coolest ever!
You....
If you are a nice person, I'm sure we'll get on fine. If you're not, it will still probably take a couple of weeks for me to get annoyed with you anyway, so don't be shy, click ADD.
I like music that sounds good....
If it is a lone man sitting with an accoustic guitar and a whole lot of heartbreak, A woman belting out some soulful melodies to a piano, a dude shredding up the fretboard like it were some sort of crazy addiction, a bassy singing melody to orchestra bassed disco music..anything!!!!
Matrix (original), phenomenon (travola is amazing), Transformers: the movie, Blade, Michael Jackson: moonwalker, Back to the future I II and III, Anything with Matt Stone and Trey Parker in (they are childishly funny), oh how the list goes on...
I don't watch TV......
I'm so kidding, Scrubs, Two and a half men, QI anything on Paramount Comedy, mainly comedy basically.....
Oh dear....
Thats a good one.
It is true, I've never really got into books, but one book, I have read stuck with me. I read it well before I had to read it for an english assignment in Yr11, it was Animal Farm. Such a great book, well written and such a sad tale.
"I must work harder" - boxer (may the legend live on)
Does this mean people who I look up to or like super heros?
Hell, I'll go for both....
Spiderman is the ultimate superhero ever, no one can touch him at all. I'd say some of the X-men were possibly 2nd, like wolverine, he's so awesome. I'm totally against these fake superheros though, like batman, come on he has no real power...apart from the power of rich, "woo look at me, I'm gonna throw money at you, yarg!". The hulk was kinda crappy too, whoop, I'm big and green...Yeah, now what, no super cool ability like webs, DUDE WHERES YOUR XRAY VISION, you aint got jack!
Ok, as for hero's who don't have actual superpowers...This is mainly gonna be guitarists, so if you don't like guitarists, I'd suggest skip this bit......Ok, Toni Iommi, total living legend, inspires me no end on my guitar, totally fresh style in an era that bough quite a lot of samey guitarists. Paul Gilbert, got blues, got soul, got mad skills on guitar, you gotta check this guy play guitar, it IS how it should be done. Obviously Jimmy Page is in there, Kurt Kobain is actually making an appearance, his music keeps me grounded, it's like "Man, I thought I had problems!", erm Hendrix just totally baffles me, such a slopy style, but the music that comes out is so sweet. Ace Frehley from KISS, such a stylish fella, got a similar guitar style to me, but made it like hella succesful. save the best till last they say, so I have....The one, the only, the late Phil Paris Lynott. Totally amazing musician, vocal and bass guitar. Things he does I can't even figure out, just totally crazy skills. The songs he writes are possibly the most listened to on my playlists, some crazily catchey shit like "Dancing in the moonlight" "The Boys are back in town" and "Jailbreak" probably his best known stuff, I'm more a sucker for the lesser know tracks myself like his little cry out to the world with "Gotta give it up" (he died of an addiction), Title track from on of their lesser popular albums "Renegade" and my all time fave "Massacre". This guy inspires me so much, thanks whoever put him on this earth.P.S. I'd like to personally thank Les Paul for his work with Gibson and the guy who invented the Ibanez RG model guitar in 1987, without this guitar model, I'd not believe the perfect guitar to exist.
