About Me

So I decided my "about me" was way too long-winded. Here is the abridged version: My real name's Gabrielle, but when I was little my sister nicknamed me Brie, and so I have been since known as a soft French cheese. I'm adopted. I'm a Psych/English major in my last year of undergrad school and am looking to go to Grad school and go into clinical therapy. (Hopefully as a therapist this time. ^_^) I read voraciously, just about anything that falls into my lap. Same with movies and music, though I tend to work through those things a bit more slowly. I'm an adult ADD'er with laser focus when I'm actually interested in something (as with most ADD'ers, it seems...) I love the outdoors and would probably be outside constantly if I could. Paradoxically, I'm addicted to the intrawebz. I'm a little bit hippie, extremely curious, and have a broad sense of humor (because of me), am a little bit goth (because of my wifey Beth), and am a crappy Buddhist (according to my boyfriend, who is right, because really I'm a giant sensualist - though that certainly has its good points...) I love to meet interesting new people, but for the love of god, actually be interesting. Please?

I'd like to meet:

People of the friendly, open-minded variety. Creative people. Other Buddhists or people interested in any kind of religion and/or philosophy, really. People to hang out and watch movies with, do outdoorsy things with, have adventures with, or to go out and have a drink with...whatever floats your boat. Though labels are lame, I find that other "goths" "hippies" "punks" "metalheads" - basically anyone who does something a little (or a lot) outside the "mainstream" fascinate me, and I tend to get along well with them, so I'd like to meet more of you. (just please don't be a MallGoth.) And chicks! Who actually like other girls! We are all beautiful. I'd like to make more female friends who actually realize this. :)

My AIM name is Ni3 ein Engel, I'm online a lot and love to chat with new folks. If you're not trying to get laid through myspace, because I will pick up on this and you will be promptly ignored and/or bitched out, do say hi sometime :c)
