Well, this is me:
I live for music! I believe that it is the greatest thing that has ever existed and it speaks to so many. It’s almost like a universal language. I have a very eclectic taste in music. Although I like songs from pretty much all genres of music, the types of music I listen to the most are alternative rock, classic rock, punk, rap & hip hop (mostly underground & old school), ska, reggae & metal. I appreciate music that involves a lot of talent either musically or lyrically, preferably both.
I practice martial arts (JKS streetwise, which is a mixture of different styles and is designed to work most effectively in real life situations) and boxing as well. I enjoy sparring a lot because it builds me up and helps me train to be a better fighter. Fighting is a part of life, whether it be physical or mental, and there is no way to avoid it. The best way is to train to be your strongest both mentally and physically, though discipline to train physically comes from mental strength. Mental strength is the key to all and I admire those who are mental warriors. I am deeply attracted to the wisdom that is out there, which is often not completely understandable to the human mind. I live for questioning; not necessarily expecting answers, but rather seeking some sort of insight into what is out there. Knowledge is power. But even though knowledge speaks, it is wisdom that listens.
I love making movies. It's something I'd definitely love to do for the rest of my life. I particularily enjoy writing screenplays but I also like to direct my films. I also play guitar (although I am still in the process of learning the instrument and becoming a good guitarist). In the past I have played both the trombone and the trumpet. I also enjoy reading, writing poetry, going to shows and concerts, playing soccer and badminton, taking walks and sleeping. I love traveling because it helps open my mind and help me discover more of what is out there. I am also a very environmentally concerned person. I try my best to not contribute to the current problem of global warming and to do the best for my world.
I admire those who don't follow the crowd; the black sheep of our society. All the while, the rest of them follow the herd. Although the government is very corrupt, I don't believe anarchy is the best way either. I believe that the best way to live is to seek knowledge and truth in every way possible. Ignorance isn’t really bliss. It is what holds us down and prevents from being able to live a full life. It keeps many of us as unaware as mindless robots. The human race is struck with ignorance. But those in power like it that way. Fear is the most effective method of control and it is fear that keeps people ignorant. The fear of knowing and learning the truth is what cripples so many, since the truth can often lead a person to live an unhappy life. I am not afraid of the unknown. I am not afraid of death. Death is just a part of life and is nothing to be discouraged or feared upon. I know that when it is my time, I will be exposed to this one last mystery known to mankind as death. And at last, there will be no more wondering for me…
