Believe in the Power of One

About Me

I'm what one might call a home body. I'm a loner, shy and usually nervous around others. I like to own, shoot, and read about guns but am not a "live in the woods of Montana" type. I'm not religious and could be called Anti-Theist. I am a Reverend in the Church of Spiritual Humanism, difficult to explain so google it, and can legally marry people. I go to College and sometimes work. I Watch too much tv, play too many games, and use my computer constantly. I'm pretty un-emotional, except when I watch shows on war I get a little teary eyed, and I don't share my feelings well except when I'm really drunk. As you can see by my political compass that I'm very liberal. Though I'm liberal I still like many "Republican" ideals like the 2nd Amendment and self reliance but for the most part don't understand conservatives. Ow yeah I've probably got a drinking problem.

My Interests

I like your basic guy stuff: Guns, Porn, Fights and Military History. I'm a European History major, would rather be a Military History major but I live in Hippieville. I collect and shoot bolt action Military Rifles. I read book about about war and guns. I collect camouflage and try to keep up to date on modern military equipment. I watch only two sports: Mixed Martial Arts and World Rally Championship. I like to lift weights, mostly cause I'm bored 90% of my day plus watching MMA fighter makes me want to get into better shape. I creep most of the time at http://www.fightlinker.com

I'd like to meet:

Lots of people like Bruce Campbell, Randy Couture, or Bill Maher. Most of them you've likely never heard of, for example Nate Quarry, Mike Nelson, Doug Stanhope, and Nick Frost. I'd like to meet a nice girl/women that enjoys the weird crap I like. Someone who can handle me being shy and my "lonerness". I'm like George Carlin... I can only stand most people for limited periods of time. Basically a few people will ever make me feel happy.

Music:

Rammstein, Die Krupps, Ministry, Clawfinger, Megaherz, OOMPH!, Eisbrecher, Slayer, The Who, DevilDriver, KMFDM, Metallica, AC/DC, Emigrate, Slick Idiot, In Extremo, Rob Zombie, Jimi Hendrix, Sacred Reich, Rollins Band, The Rolling Stones, Revolting Cocks, Joachim Witt, Eric Clapton, Black Label Society, Tanzwut... pretty much in that order. If its loud and angry I'll give it a try.

Movies:

My favorite movies include: Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Army of Darkness, Hot Fuzz, Crank, Shaun of the Dead, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Super Troopers, Snatch, Revolver, Borat, John Carpenters The Thing, Bubba Ho-Tep, Rolling Kansas, Gladiator, all 15 Sharpe's movies, To End All Wars, Escape From L.A anything with RiffTrax. I'll watch anything with a monster or zombies like George Ramero's Dead series, Aliens, Predator, The Host, Altered, Abominable.

Television:

Top Gear, MST3K, Star Gate: Atlantis, Chuck, The Unit, Future Weapons, Jericho, Monster Quest, Weaponology, MacGyver, Countdown with Keith Olbermann, Hardball with Chris Matthews. My favorite channel is the Military Channel which I could leave on all day. I love British tv like Doctor Who, BlackAdder, Red Dwarf, Torchwood.

Books:

History Books about Germany, War, and Guns. Techno-Thrillers by Clancy, Brown, and Cussler. Alternate History by Turtledove. One of my favorite books is Grettir's Saga. Right now I'm reading the Sharpe's series and the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. I'm always reading magazines about guns like Special Weapons for Military and Law Enforcement.

Heroes:

Charles Darwin for going against the grain, Bruce Campbell for being a great B actor, Evan Tanner for persevering during the tough times and be an example of what one can do, Nate Quarry for being a stand up guy after taking a beating from Franklin, Richard Dawkins for expressing my views better than I can, Simo Häyhä for killing 705 Soviets in 100 days defending his country, and Carlos Hathcock for enduring suffering and still fighting.
