I'd like to meet:

Someone who can help make sense of it all... /a

Music:

Msfits, X, Uncle Tupelo, The Clash, Son Volt, Sex Pistols, The Pogues, Flogging Molly, Jet Black Factory, Rancid, The Cramps, The Replacements, The Pixies, FEAR, Minor Threat, Circle Jerks, Black Flag, Ramones, Dead Kennedys, Agent Orange, MDC, Jesus and Mary Chain, Echo And The Bunnymen, The Cure, Alice In Chains, Social Distortion, The Gun Club, Rage Against The Machine, Todd Snider, Old Crow Medicine Show, various Bluegrass, classical, Irish, Traditional stuff, I find some Tribal and Religious stuff interesting and still have a nostalgic love for 80's alternative stuff; could I possibly say "stuff" again? What I am listening to varies wildly depending on my mood

Movies:

I am a big geek over horror flicks, especially from the 70's but really all horror with the exception of the crappy, overly processed stuff from the digital age. I also have a special love for Jess Franco films and Euro-trash 70's films as a whole. Other faves include Punk Docs, A Clockwork Orange, Harold & Maude, Donnie Darko, Blue Velvet, Waking Life,Secretary..... If I could keep only one DVD it would Joseph Cambell, The Power Of Myth, well that or The Devil in Miss Jones!

Television:

SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS!

Books:

Charles Bukowski has often been my best friend and the Tao Te Ching inspired me to embrace life; I have the calligraphy for Tao Te Ching tattooed on my back as a reminder of that fact. Those are the books I would walk into a fire to save. Other favorites include Baudeliare, Celine, Kerouac, Creeley, Burroughs, Nietzsche, Jung, Shopenhauer, Vonnegut, Hunter S. Thompson, Edward Abbey..... I love good poetry and have a special fondness for Chinese poetry, especially Han Shan & Li Po. I also enjoy reading books on exploration, mountaineering, sea kayaking, Theology, History and Art... Just like my music, what I am reading varies wildy depending on my mood.
