Join The Mailing ListBrandon Ruff a.k.a Dialect, grew up into a family filled with musical talent. As a young child, his father encouraged him to play the piano. Optimistic and hopeful, he set on his musical quest. In the summer of 2000, he began studying different melodic tones of music, and stumbled upon his first Digital Audio Work Station, FL Studio 5. Experimenting with different melodic tones and rhythms as well as studying notable producers of the 20th century, he adopted a style all his own.
Enter fall 2001, where Dialect began exploring more aspects of music, studying Music Theory in Arundel Senior High School. Sharpening his knowledge of production, he came to produce Young D, one of his fellow classmates.
More artists discovered his talent, rappers Kydnice in 2005 and Lex Luthor in early 2006. As he collaborated with more artists, he became a musical chameleon, adapting to the diverse musical styles of rappers. Also broadening his production skills using Reasons, Cubase and Pro-Tools.
He’s also spanned out to the West Coast, collaborating with Element Rhymes, a west coast rapper with an East Coast flow.
Dialect has great confidence in his skills as a producer. He is the epitome and the future of super producing.
