Whatup! For those who don't know me, my name is Ida. I was born in Kenya, and I'm ready to take on the world. I've been singing since BIRTH...LITERALLY! I acted a little bit for a couple years, and was blessed to be in the cast of Days of Our Lives for a year and a half. I then stopped working on the show to film my first feature, Tears of The Sun, make sure ya'll go check it out. My first CD was released in 2004. It was a maxi single and contained four tracks. My full album was released in Jun. 2005 . It was released in Kenya first, since i was there for the first time in 18 years. It was CRAZY!!! I had a lot of fun, and my people received me well. I got to perform in what you would call
the Kenyan Grammys and that opened the door to a lot of things. I recorded a couple tracks out there and shot a video. Big ups to all my Kenyan mabeste! Now I'm back in Cali performing my butt off and working hard at the independent thing. Thanks to Afro-Merica Records for the hard work, and tell me what ya'll think of my stuff. God Bless.
