Home of the Cleveland Classics!

About Me

Little Fish Records is a Cleveland, Ohio based label which houses the best music this great city has to offer; past, present and future. The quality of the music on the label is is paramount and transcends many different genres. Little Fish is home to some of North America's premiere reggae talents such as Carlos Jones and the P.L.U.S band, Istan Black and The Sweets and The Ark Band. World music is also represented by Roberto Ocasio's Latin Jazz Project who explore many different genres within there own brand of Latin music. The label is also the home of many of Cleveland’s top singer-songwriters such as Robin Stone, Christopher, Alexis Antes and Cletus Black. These artists cover various styles from your traditional acoustic singer-songwriter through religious based work to the Blues. Little Fish also have the acoustic driven talents of Genuine Son, one the city’s top talents for the future. The aforementioned acts are all representative pf Cleveland’s healthy array of musical talent for the present and future, but Alan Freed didn’t coin the term ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll’ in Cleveland for nothing. The Cleveland Classics of the past on Little Fish include the ground-breaking reggae/rock act First Light, Joe Walsh’s first group ‘The James Gang’, The Michael Stanley Band (Rock), Robert Lockwood Jnr (Blues), Murray Saul (Rock), The O’Jays (Motown) and many, many more. This page is only an introduction to the vast array of talent on the Little Fish label. The best starting point record-wise would be the Collage Volume One release, which gives a good overview of some of the upcoming acts on the label. For the best source of information on the label, check out www.littlefishrecords.com for a more thorough overlook on the artists on Little Fish Records.
