Influences: ***My influences have not changed - Life, love, loss, experience, observation, pain, joy, life... Lots of music, good music, music that get’s me up, and my new band, -does it for me! They are truly incredible and I can’t wait to create with them each and every time.
It makes me wish I had more time to gobble up new music... So that is what I am doing.
I also want to take some more lessons, learn jazz standards, broaden my scope, keep learning instruments. Learning is influence, I have been practicing yoga for over a year now. Staying balanced while I expand so I can give more to other people and to myself, giving is hard if it leaves you empty, it needs to leave you filled.
***BUT love lately is STILL on the table, in a new form... it has come back to me and it has also been lost, but my future is wide open. It’s really hard to be vulnerable, but it’s harder to be vulnerable a little too late, and boy am I glad I am learning that lesson. It is so worth being me, the one who leaves nothing left unsaid, the one who talks love into being, the one who makes people believe. So I am in operation "rebuild", with eyes wide open at life, and this is going to blow the doors off of the world. This will come in the form of a new record as well...
READ MY BLOGS, THEY REALLY DO HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY. You just might learn more about the kind of person I really am... Oh yah, I am getting back into my art as well... Design is cool, but I miss using my hands... So I am going to make some cool stuff, and print some photography... Maybe you’ll like it.

My space:
Sounds Like: It’s the energy of Dave Matthews delivered with the elegance of Natalie Cole. The pulse of Erikah Badu with the eloquence of Joni Mitchell with kick in the ass Jill Scott style. Throw in some Earth Wind and Fire, a pinch of Marvin Gaye and a dash of salt & pepper... You might have something there... Artists she loves includes Ani DiFranco, Jonatha Brooke, Annie Lennox, Shelby Lynn, Aimie Mann, John Mayer, Prince, Judy Bats, Esthero, and more.
