Just as stars and heavenly bodies illuminate and define the cosmos, strong men and beautiful women are the greatest treasures on Earth...Czerny is a human rights activist and performing artist. A vocalist, actor, tap dancer, choreographer, director, producer and writer.Currently, his first feature, "Dawn's Glory" has been re-scheduled for a 2008 shoot in Atlanta (See clip below). As a vocalist, he performed with key members of Cleveland, Ohio's, "Dazz Band" (Mike Calhoun, Ike and Mike Wiley) prior to their transition and Grammy Award winning hit, "Let it Whip". He was a member of the prestigious Karamu Company (theatre) where he trained and worked under the late, internationally acclaimed director and choreographer, Mike Malone. There, Czerny created the role of the womanizing, Hicks, in the World Premier of Zora Neale Hurston's, "Their Eyes Were Watching God" and wrote, produced, directed, choreographed and performed in "Speakeasy" -- A Ragtime Musical Comedy. Karamu is also the theatre where Langston Hughes honed his writing skills. In Atlanta, he was the primary male lead with Just-Us Theatre Company in its 1987 season, founded and directed by Byron Saunders. He was featured as a principal in two episodes of the television series, "In the Heat of the Night," other features and regional commercials. He has authored two completed full-length manuscripts and a television series, "The Seer." He also penned, "Tales Old Wives Tell," a stage play for children consisting of six, short "spooky" stories. Czerny is the first recipient of the Langston Hughes Memorial Award for Literary Excellence. (Cleveland Playhouse, July 17, 2001).
