OLD STORY: I was the suburbs a hundred years ago, a place for Victorians to get away from the noise and the dirt of the city. Now that the noise and the dirt of the city have made it out here, I'm inhabited by poor people with a rocking sensibility. My foundations shake with the noise like a good deep-tissue massage.
