NEW ALBUM -- TOO MANY DAYS OUT NOW!

To order, message me, or Galvatraz Records in the US, or Peacific in Europe. I'm open to barter and trade.

Any labels who would be interested in other recorded projects of mine, let me know -- I have several albums of stuff on my hard drive.Helena Espvall's debut solo album, Nimis and Arx, is out now on Fire Museum and Pax recordings. She's the cellist of Espers. I recorded the album contributed Infidel-style electronics to several tracks. Please check it out at one or more of the following sites:
myspace.com/helenaespvall
museumfire.com/espvall
paxrecordings.com/Artists/Helena_Espvall.html
I'm one half of Infidel?/Castro!, a duo with Colin Marston (Dysrhythmia, Byla, Behold... the Arctopus) specializing in extremely dark electroacoustic ambient metal.
I have released an album collecting 80 minutes of solo material from the last three years. It is called "Memoirs of a Trilobite" and contains nine different styles to represent the nine orders of trilobite, plus interludes between the different styles. Guests include members of Dysrhythmia, Stinking Lizaveta, Kayo Dot (formerly Maudlin of the Well) and more.
If you want to order it for $8, or you want to trade your disc for mine, message me. It has a lyric sheet.
Toby Driver from Kayo Dot says "It made me say what the fuck at least 5 times."
Michael Anton Parker of Bagatellen.com says "I'm beginning to sense the emergence of a new generation's answer to Jason Willett, Baltimore's infamous inscrutable genius of Megaphone/Leprechuan Catering/Half-Japanese/Ruins/post-RIO-dada notoriety. Both worrisome and thrilling, this prospect."

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: BatHotAxe.com
Band Members: Collaborators: Liz Walsh, Helena Espvall, Colin Marston, Alex Nagle, Alex Vallejo, etc.
Influences: The Residents, The Ventures, Snakefinger, William S. Burroughs, The Scientific Americans, Glenn Branca, The Swans, US Maple, Grim Shady , Lobe Stub , Wilson Pickett, The Neverending Story Theme.
Sounds Like: well, people hear the branca tuning and think of sonic youth, people hear the residents influence and think of ween. i hear the distorted bass and think of pj harvey.chuck from green chair said it sounded like the sparks. i have no idea how as i cannot sing like russell mael for my life, nor can i craft that kind of lilting glam-pop, but i guess living with liz and hearing the sparks 5 times a day has caused my music to somehow radiate an essence of mael cheekiness. or is that male cheekiness.

here are some quotes about Too Many Days:

"Happy to see our boy back in the lab, and his latest is a masterpiece of even more schizoid stylings." -- WFMU Blog "Recent Faves From the New Bin"

"Korein’s music is panic-inducing, melodramatic, art-noise that instills the notion that noise can be harnessed for good or evil. I’m still not sure which side Korein is on but my money is that he’s a chaotic neutral half-elf with a damn good THAC0." -- Smother.net

"Buddy Holly makes a ghetto tech album" -- Startling Moniker

"A moody masterwork" -- Philadelphia City Paper

"I could have very well just not reviewed this album but I felt I had to warn anyone possible about this album. Avoid this at all costs, unless of course you like being in pain while you listen to music. If that is the case then by all means check this out and prepare to writhe in agony." -- Unbound

"Dude, this album is great! Some of it reminds me of The Residents and some of it makes me want to jump up and dance like a lunatic." -- Half Makeshift

"Things don't get more bizarre than the latest from George Korein." -- Sea of Tranquility
Record Label: Galvatraz in the US, Peacific in Europe
