Cute, furry puppies with big paws. Muscular large-breed dogs. Doggy head tilts will always win me over. Cuddly baby animals. Big cats. Owls. Bears- grizzly, brown and polar to be exact. Pale shades of colors; light grays, steel/gray blues, mint/"winter" green. Some darker shades of colors; olive/drab and forest green, black. Black and white as a color combination; especially on animals. Included are white tigers (my favorite animal ever), pandas and, of course, cows. Brown cows are cool too, though. Stuffed animals; cows especially. Naming your stuffed animals. Those Velcro hanging animal (monkey usually) toys. Three-to-five lettered words- 4 being ideal. Keeping a list of words I like. Cheese. Cookie dough, either in ice cream or not. Strawberry and vanilla ice cream. Letting ice cream melt and then drinking it. Milkshakes
Things that smell like strawberries or apples. Smackers lip glosses, 'specially ones that taste sweet. Cocoa or coconut butter lotions. The smell and feel of hand sanitizer. Bracelets and necklaces. Making bracelets and necklaces out of kiddy bead sets. Chain and spike bracelets and necklaces. Bracelets and necklaces sporting your name/nickname/a word. Rings, sometimes. Sleeping with the TV muted just for the flickering/changing light. Sleeping with nightlights that change colors. Sleeping with a window open. Sleeping with your head under your pillow. Sleeping in cozy, warm sheets when it's cold in the room. Staying in bed during winter days when it's always dark and gloomy. Not having to get up winter mornings when it's still dark. Getting up early wrongfully and having the opportunity to roll over and go back to sleep. It being warm out early in the morning when you have to be up. Sleeping in late. Springtime weather. The few days during autumn before the leaves start falling when they're all different shades of yellows, oranges and reds. Blizzards. Downpours. Heavy thunderstorms. Walks after midnight. Walking alone, with the dog, or with one other person when its dark. Trees during all four seasons. Taking pictures of trees; especially against the sky. The twilight/dusk sky when deep, dark black-blue-purple meets with heavy pink, red, orange and yellow. Sunsets.
Buying random stuff. Buying DVDs. Watching DVDs at night when everyone is asleep. Painting my nails with different designs each week; never in a solid color. Painting my nails after 11:30 PM. Reading and writing e-mails. Addictive online flash songs and movies. English or Australian- sometimes Southern- accents, especially when accompanied by a hot man. Longer hair on guys. Dirty blonde hair. Blue or green eyes, especially ones with "marble" textures or odd colored flecks in them.
Bursting into songs cued from things people have said (like "So my dog woke me in the middle of the night..." "In the middle of the night, I was walking in my sleep...") Wrongly repeating the last thing someone said just to annoy them ("I lost my anklet." "You're a juvenile delinquent?" "What?!") Mentioning my love for cheese at random intervals during a conversation... The smell of fire. Making little camp fires outside. Burning things... Post-it notes... I think I'll stop there :)
Johnny Depp's Newfie (dog) from Finding Neverland o.o;
I don't do favorites in relation to genres or artists because I don't think there is a singer or band or whatever out there that can produce songs I will like every single time; favorites as far as individual songs are more my thing. And I'm not about to list every song I fancy, so doom on you. Things with catchy, bouncy, haunting, rhythmic, and/or "different" melodies and lyrics will likely hold my attention. Nothing that gives a headache or sounds like someone screaming their brains out from their ass, please. I tend to get hooked on random songs from TV shows I watch; many times when there is interesting music used in episodes, they get drilled into my head.
Tons. Psychological Thrillers =
Let's see. House is my favorite [medical and overall] show. The doc's snarky attitude owns my ass. PRISON BREAK is now my second favorite; I got bored one weekend and downloaded all the episodes to catch up. My mother, grandmother and tons of other people had been telling me forever about the awesome writing and acting, but I wasn't having any of it. Well, I shoulda listened. Grey's Anatomy is amazing as well. More character-based and silly, but still packing up the drama... LOST sometimes me makes me want to run into a brick wall but Sawyer pwns everyone. Wildfire's an awesome show I've been watching from the start. Junior is teh shizz and horses = love. Cold Case is a uniquely directed show and somewhat fills the void left by The X-Files (odd as it might sound) which was the best series in the world
The 4400 is more along that road, and it's become a favorite show thanks last summer's wonderful season finale. It's coming back in June! There's also The Dead Zone, but I watch it only because it's Stephen King related. They're my shows to get me through the school-less months.
Dead Like Me, Kingdom Hospital, The Inside: RIP. Y'all were awesome but the phuckin' networks murdered you.
For old school days, props to BtVS (Buffy), 'cuz that was an addictive show :D Also to La Femme Nikita which I watched regularly with my grandmother. I hope to collect the DVDs of it as well one day. And Xena, which - speaking of DVDs - I randomly bought all six seasons of for over $360 since I got nothin' better to spend my money on. Ares is my god :)
STEPHEN KING OWNS YOU! Koontz is okay too cuz he's a DK like me (:
MY DOG! D: And... Yeah. My dog... He's cool. And cows... 'Cuz they provide us with cheese (:
