PalmSoul a.k.a DJ Sam F

Dj Sam F a.k.a. Palmsoul is one of the many unsung heroes of Dance Music.The night that changed his life was a night at the legendary Disco Katmandu in 1988 where the dj was playing a mix of Salsoul classics and a new exciting sound fron New York called 'Garage'. He hosted a radio show on Kiss fm later that year called the Garage as a tribute to Larry Levan and started playing some new producers such as Stardust(later they were called Blaze;) ,Fingers Inc.,and Canadian producers Subculture just to name a few. In 1992 he teams up with Dj Elias and host their 'Deep'nights at Mykonos 'Mad'.The crew hosts more than 50 events until 1995 and their peak was the 2 day party at Paradise Beach in Mykonos with more than 2000 people attending. In 1996 he holds a monthly residency at Mykonian Top club The Gallery and biweekly at Mad club. 1997 is the year he has the full residency and alongside DJ James Elliot bring at Gallery the island's creme de la creme. He hosts also Paradise at Athens top house stage City Groove and spins with DJ Sneak,Roger Sanchez and Joey Negro. He is invited to spin at the legendary 'Queens'with Paris hottest night 'Respect',and fellow dj Rork. Later the same year he meets with Dj Savas and form the Soul Brothers. The duo gets the summer residency at Cavo Paradiso and they invite for the first time ever in greece djs like Onionz,Chris Brann(Ananda Project) and spin alongside Dimitri From Paris,Frankie Knuckles,Smokin' Jo and many more. Untill 2000 they hosted parties all over Greece from Crete to Thessaloniki and the ultimate parties 'Studio 54:Revival with fellow New Yorker DJ Kenny Carpenter.
