MAX TALKIN REAL ISM...........

About Me

M-Tri: "Elephants" (2008) from Noisemaker Media on Vimeo . Dwelling down from the bottom of the map, Brooklyn’s best keep secret, triple threat on the set, introducing M-TRI. Being an MC, DJ, and Producer this HipHop architect is constantly building. Rhyming for quite a while now , M-TRI has developed different styles of rhyming, through his subject matter, wordplay, punchlines, medaphors, and of coarse, his flow. Being a DJ for many years as well, collecting and cutting up records (yeah records), was another passion which led him to production. Creating exciting, dramatic, menacing and somewhat sarcastic beats, with the SP1200 or the MPC2000XL is another craft, love, and fix for this HipHop Junkie. M-TRI is an acronym which stands for MaxTalkin’Real Ism and is also taken from his name Max Triolo. Born and raised in Gravesend Brooklyn, he was introduced to HipHop through grafitti and breakdancing in 1984 and hasn't looked back since. At age 15 he wrote the lyrics for a Hip House record titled "Talk About Rockin'" that was released on Capitol Records for a group named "2Girls". He made demos and performed at house parties and showcases around NYC dating back to as far as 1989 and he opened for acts such as Rob Base and DJ Easy Rock. Around 1993 M-TRI got into making beats. He produced "I Know Your Style" for "4 Iza Cru" in '95. Around '95 he got his turntables out of the basement and backyard and started DJing in spots around NYC and kept appearing in showcases throughout the late 90s. M-TRI was featured on DJ Blowout's "Verses Vs. Beats" which was a compilation of NYC's most elite underground emcees over DJ Blowout's production. In 2001 he started a group called "ZonedOut" as well as an open mic show with another emcee named Deep Thought. ZonedOut put together a couple of EPs and in 2002 were featured in the Winter Music Conference in Miami. They performed at the Idol Music Seminar in Baltimore as well as the club Sonar & all over NYC. In late 2005 ZonedOut dropped their debut LP "Contradictions". M-TRI also has deejayed for Sabac from Non-Phixion opening for Jedi-Mind-Tricks and The Beatnuts and other shows. At the present time of 2008 M-TRI is working on his solo album titled "MAX TALKIN REAL ISM".
