"Stompa Phunk’s latest resident, the delectable... Holly Cooper. Over the last year Holly has had a growing involvment in the legendary Stompa Phunk night, and her profile as a DJ has grown greatly. Not only has she taken part in competitions, club residencies but has also worked on promoting and managing her own club nights. Holly’s technical versatility sets her apart from many of her contemporaries. Whether it is funky, deep, electro, tribal, tech house, minimal or breakbeat that’s required Holly will deliver and she’ll never fail to wow the crowd. From tougher, dirtier electro house on club floors, to more minimal warehouse party grooves. The most important thing to her is to select quality tunes, mix them well, play them at the right time and perform with passion. Her enthusiasm behind the decks is contagious, and this obvious enjoyment in doing what she loves so much is an absolute joy to behold. It's a very exciting time for Holly with her monthly residency at Audio playing along side some top DJs such as Andrew Weatherall, Hybrid, James Lavelle, Fat Boy Slim, David Parr, Way Out West, High Contrast to name but a few, and playing out to other larger crowds at various club nights in Brighton and London."
