Just another bass player/songwriter to help pave the streets of Nashville! :) With a steady day gig I pretty much stay in town for the obligatory "showcases" these days... Born in Detroit in 1970 I grew up with the sounds of Bob Seger, Mitch Ryder, Ted Nugent and the usual supects of Motown. I moved to Florida in the '80s and started playing in rock bands through my teens. I joined the army and went to Wildflecken, Germany in 1989, where I played my first country music with Jimmy Carter and the Dallas County Green who was on a DOD tour and needed a bass player in a hurry. I loved it and havent stopped since. I took part in the All-Army Europe Talent show in 1992 with the Chromatic Knights band where we took first in our category. I was with the 48th Maintenance Company there and went on to the 5th Engineer Batallion at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. After the army I took to the central Florida music scene, moved on to the clubs west of St. Louis, and find myself in Nashville, Tennessee today. By day I'm a technician and give some weekends to Uncle Sam and the Great State of Tennessee via the National Guard. (E Co. 107th Aviation 278th Cavalry.) Lets not forget to mention that I hold an Advanced Class Ham Ticket, KT4QF and am working towards my private pilot certification though still humbled by the Diamond DA-20 Katana. Maybe you'll see me at KMQY. Trying to get in touch with me? (615)653-4411(Nashville) is a good place to start.
