About Me

I'm everything your mother told you to look for and everything she warned you about. :-)
Seriously, I'm Beautiful, Intelligent, Talented, Charming, Honest, Highly Opinionated, Complicated, Adventurous, Energetic, Very Independent, Extremely Sensitive, Passionate, Comical, Sarcastic, Sensual, Sultry, Mysterious, Infinitely deep, Scorpio. . . Unique (whew! lots of adjectives there. . .)
I have no problems with changing the oil or doing a tune-up. Got my Class M license and am getting used to my first bike--a Suzuki GZ 250 (vroooooom)! My home (sanctuary) is clean and tidy--I keep it that way. Can go from tank top 'n cut-offs to after 7 attire with ease--I turn heads either way. I enjoy cooking when I have the time. Have a humorously sarcastic view of life, (hey! it's not permanent ya know. . .) and I sweat (not perspire) when I work out. Looong term thinker. Can understand most points of view and will always take all sides into consideration when making a decision. Puts me far ahead of the crowd.
Favorite philosopher: tie between Socrates, Jesus of Bethlehem, and Bill Cosby.
Mind games are a waste of time--so I keep it direct--too direct for the meek. If you can't handle someone telling you that you look like hell when you do or that I follow a different drummer than you on some ideal, don't come calling. On the other hand, if you are looking for someone who'll call it as she sees it--good, bad or ugly (even if her eyes are outta focus), voila!
Have a 17 y.o. daughter--luv her to bits. Love animals--currently have a cat (the guapito); have had a dog (my first child); miss him much.

My Interests

Music, dancing, art, culture, architecture, hiking, biking, motorcycles, movies, food, working out, reading, cooking, everything in my about me section, animals, could go on forever, . . .

I'd like to meet:

God in a suit on a motorcycle! :-) SERIOUSLY, if you are: handsome and PHYSICALLY FIT (please don't be overweight, I won't want ya), HIGHLY educated (masters degree +) and considerably intelligent, very SUCCESSFUL in your career choice BUT not a workaholic (retired is fine too, just no couch potatoes), respectable, OPEN and HONEST in your communications (not afraid to say what's on your mind or in your heart), one who knows how to LISTEN, VERY WELL ORGANIZED at home and at work (yes, neatness counts), a NON SMOKER, enjoy traveling, love roller coasters, motorcycle rides and picnics in a park, are very affectionate and compassionate, romantic, a fine DANCER, HUMOROUS (translate: can make me belly laugh), playful, RESPONSIBLE yet spontaneous, a person of your word, manage your time well, have a vasectomy, be UNMARRIED and ready for a relationship (no rebounds or drama kings please), believe in a Higher Power in some fashion without having to shove your perspective down anyone else's throat, and can accept all of me as I am, you'd be perfect. Multilingual is a definite plus.

Music:

Music: it's all good. . . okay, 'cept maybe Opera and Gangsta Rap. . .

Favorite crooner: Nat King Cole (Tony Bennet is a close second)

Favorite musical group/composer: depends on genre--Tchaikovsky, Glen Miller, Temptations, Beatles, Cher, Gipsy Kings, Heart, Brooks & Dunn, Arrested Development, Stevie Wonder, SRV, Pink, Jet, John Legend, . . .

Movies:

No particular favorites, but I do enjoy good comedies and action films.

Television:

I'm not that big a TV watcher (80 million channels and nothin' on. . .). Nevertheless, I do watch a few programs semi-regularly. Some examples:

"Gilmore Girls" use it as reference material for me and my daughter in our future. . .

"Boston Legal"--just another reminder of home sweet home. . .

"CSI" any of them--and people wonder how people get away with murder. . .

"Grey's Anatomy"--daughter's hooked, mama's hooked. . .

Books:

Always enjoyed Edgar Alan Poe. . . No favorite modern day authors but, I do read pretty constantly--like fact, self-improvement books, and a variety of fiction: adventures, mysteries, and fantasy type books--novels--not big on romance though I like participating in romance. :-)

The biggest drawback for me when reading is that once I get into it, I can't put the darn thing down!!!

Heroes:

No real heros anymore. . .

My Blog
