What started as a jam session and later evolved into a 5 piece band, Initial Threat has developed and has consistently produced a distinguished and unique sound, influenced by all kinds of rock music. Our music is fast and real, our lyrics can be anything from humorous, sarcastic, political, or socially related. We don't try to fit into a specific genre, nor do we try to 'break the rules' and stay away from them. We just write and play fast, hard, and very real music that we would like to listen to in hopes that we can open a mind or two or just get someone to rock out... we'll take what we can get.
Initial Threat is fronted by the fierce and growling Claudio (Garbage Disposal) on vocals, Head Thrashings and face crunching solos are delivered by Jeremy "It's Miller Time" Threat (Rhythm Guitar) and Tommy Glover (Lead Guitar), Chris Threat rocks the drums and keeps the rhythm flowing, and Dale Gore (everybody!) slams out some heavy bass riffs that fuel the band.
