DJ DeRon Juan

DeRon has been a music fiend since he could remember, evident from asking his parents for music at the age of 5. That love for music led to him being the local house party DJ in his small hometown of Hendersonville NC, all while attending Hendersonville High School where he played Football Basketball and Baseball. But it was baseball that would would get him drafted out of high school by the Los Angeles Dodgers(in which he did not sign) land him a scholarship to Brevard College in the mountains of North Carolina. It was also at Brevard where he received a set of turntables from his father as a christmas gift. After 2 years at Brevard, DeRon earned a second baseball scholarship to North Carolina A&T where he would meet DJ Rewind, then the main campus DJ. DeRon started his DJ career opening up for DJ Rewind and eventually DJing Gym Jams and other campus events. After 2years of small gigs around Greensboro DeRon would have to take a break from DJing when he was selected in the 15th round of the MLB baseball draft by the San Francisco Giants. After 3 years of professional baseball DeRon would return to Greensboro and immediately hook back up with DJ Rewind and eventually DJ T Luv. He started to do parties and events including all homecoming events for A&T for 2 years as well as other colleges including NCCU and JCSU. Over the time DeRon has been known for a great ear for music and the ability to predict hot singles and, as a result, was offered an A&R position for the Atlanta based record company that would eventually fold. DeRon is now one of the best party rockers in the Triad spinning weekly Club Touch. Very humble and very approachable DeRon Juan has become a crowd and promoter favorite.
