First things first, I would like to tell everyone that comes to this page that I'm a serious artist and that I'm here to promote my music and my long awaited career as a performing artist, so let's get a few things straight. Please allow me to answer these questions upfront:
· Collaborations with other artists: I, at this moment in time, cannot find the time for this request due to the fact that I'm constantly travelling and recording between Barcelona (Spain) and Miami (Florida). However, any such request will be fowarded to my executive producer Frankie Biggz . And please understand that collaborations are not my choice in this matter.
· · Colaboraciones con otros artistas: En estos momentos no tengo tiempo para hacerme cargo de estas peticiones, ya que me encuentro viajando y grabando entre Barcelona (España) y Miami (Florida, USA). · Producers and Songwriters: Any questions dealing with the production or songwriting of my record WILL BE answered directly by my producers, so please DO NOT ASK ME. This is a personal thing for me, as of recently I've been misguided and mistreated by managers, producers, artists, etc. claiming their legitimacy in the music business just to find out there were other motives besides music. I'm NOT here to date you, please don't waste your time. SERIOUS MUSIC INQUIRES ONLY.· · Productores y compositores: Cualquier pregunta que tenga que ver con temas de producción o composición de mi disco SERÁ contestada directamente por mis productores, así que por favor NO ME PREGUNTÉIS. Es una cuestión personal, ya que últimamente he sido guiada incorrectamente por managers, productores, art¡stas, etc. reivindicando su legitimidad en la industria musical descubriendo que había otros motivos lejanos a la música. · Friend Requests and Friends: Thank you for your support and all your love, I promise you that I'm in the middle of making a record that will make you proud, that is my goal. Starting this month for the next six months my travels will be quite extensive, so my time online will be very limited if any. Please understand that I'm not the same Irene that you remember. In the last 3 months I've had to change my whole life. I was recently betrayed and taken advantage of by people close to me. I can't afford to make those mistakes again. My eyes are opened and now I'm free. I'm doing this so that I can focus more in on the things that mean everything in my life, as well as my career. Please be patient, you are all on my mind and in my soul. Please do not be upset if I do not get back to you as soon as you would like it, instead remember that you are all in my heart. · · Peticiones de amistad (Friend Requests) y Amigos: Gracias por vuestro apoyo y todo vuestro amor, estoy en plena grabación de un disco que espero que os haga sentir orgullosos, esa es mi meta. Empezando este mes y en los próximos seis meses mis viajes serán extensos, así que mi tiempo conectada será muy limitado si hay. Por favor, entended que no soy la misma Irene que recordáis. En los últimos 3 meses he tenido que cambiar mi vida entera. Recientemente gente cercana a mi me ha traicionado y se ha aprovechado de mí. Estoy haciendo esto con tal de centrarme más en las cosas que lo significan todo para mí, así como también en mi carrera. Por favor, tened paciencia, os tengo a todos en mi mente y en mi alma. NOW ON TO MY BIO:Born in Barcelona, Spain, Irene Bauzá (IreneB) was introduced to the world of music at the tender age of 6. It was then that she realized she wanted to play the piano.
IreneB was raised listening to her cousins' collection of soul music such as Bobby Brown, Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, just to name a few. At the age of 18 she started studying music at the Aula de Música Moderna y Jazz del Liceo to stay focused in what she really loves, music.
IreneB has since then been blessed with seven years of performances in venues such as the Razzmatazz, Jazz Room and Vic Jazz Festival with an array of jazz, blues, and soul styles. In 2005, her first EP entitled “Mi Realidad” with Soulfeenix (member of Funkopolitan) and lyrics by Yamei, proved to be a breakthrough record in Spain. Since then IreneB has been able to capture a very faithful audience in the underground hip hop/r&b scene in Madrid and Barcelona, and gaining international attention in the US.
In the summer of 2006 after the underground success of "Mi Realidad" IreneB was introduced to the idea of platinum producer Frankie Biggz, after several attempts and emails to the Frankie Biggz myspace account , the idea became reality when he finally wrote her back expressing his interest in her voice and overall project. The rest is music history...
