Developing cycling gear especially gloves that would rip of the side of a car as you politely bang on the side to let the driver know that you are there. I try to be a good polite cyclist and I follow the highway code. I might not pay road tax but I'm not fucking up the environment, clogging up the roads and wasting the earth's precious resources anywhere near to the same degree as cars!!
Learning Spanish. What a brilliant sensible language compared to some othe european languages I've tried to learn. i have two very good reasons to learn spanish.1) so I can talk to non Euskara speaking Basques and 2) so my daughters lovely boyfriend, Hans can understand me better and I can talk to people when I eventualy get to visit Chile

Same as music!
I love TV.Current Favourites, Shameless, The Bill (sorry!) hollyoaks(sorry) History programmes but I'm sick of getting excited about seeing a prog on The Civil War coming up on UK History (note the UK bit) and finding out it's about the American civil War. This doesn't mean that UK History should only have progs about Uk history but surely they should call it American Civil War?My Name is Earl is wonderful. i really enjoyed the first episode.Older progs, anyone remember 'Hot Metal'? Operation Good Guys, especially the Christmas one with the 'Snow'****** actually this is the hardest bit to write cos I love the TV.
Crumbs, of all the things I love books are top of the list. I have soooooo many favourites. 'Here's a few, A Suitable Boy' Vikram Seth. 'The Basque History of the World' 'Missing', 'His Darl Materials Trilogy', Phillip Pullman, anything by Anne Rice, Stephen King, Christopher Hill, David Cressy, 19th century english fiction especially 'real' gothic novels 'Mysteries of Udolpho' is genuinley creepy and made me jump when I was reading it. Trashy women's magazines, I could go on but I'm not pissed like I was when I first joined Myspace.
