Music, reading, writing (especially haikus), animals (especially dogs). If I could do whatever I wanted, I would want to work with dogs. I love dogs! Show me a dog and I can most likely tell you what breed it is, even tell you what kind of breeds may be in a mixed dog. How? When I was kid, I would thoroughly read dog books. I was, and still am, fascinated.
I enjoy watching all different kinds of sports. Let's go Yankees! I am a NY fan. The Knicks aren't too good, but they're still my team. I also watch boxing. I watch sports because I grew up watching them with my parents. They watch everything!
I heart stilettos, passionate kisses, Midori Sours, smart guys who use proper grammar and can spell "onomatopoeia" without cheating and looking it up in the dictionary, Snapple Peach Iced Tea, men in suits *growl*, blazers, jeans that fit perfectly, boys with nice hands and nails, bubble baths, cuddling, lollipops.
I'd like to meet:
No one. It seems like a lot of MySpace people are jerks! Heaven forbid I don't respond to a message, then all of a sudden I'm a stupid, ugly, gook bitch. I'm GLAD I didn't respond. I wouldn't want to find out someone had that kind of attitude after talking to them for a while.
And another thing. Who cares if people add hundreds of people they don't know. Why do I do it? Because I have no reason to reject friend requests, unless I see something vulgar or inappropriate on their page. And what the hell is it with people thinking people do it because it's a popularity contest? Who the hell cares?! I'm sure some people do it for that reason, but believe me I couldn't care less how "popular" I am on MySpace. How old are we? 12? Easy solution folks. Just delete them if they're not "friendly" enough for you. Some of you really need to lighten up. It's only MySpace. Stop taking things so seriously.
I may seem like a bitch, but I'm really not. I just find some things on here to be ridiculous and petty. Have some fun people. Just think to yourself "it's nothing personal."
Music:
I usually listen to r&b. I'm such a mellow chick. Brian McKnight, 112, Babyface, Case, Carl Thomas, Donell Jones, Jon B., Craig David, Ginuwine, Usher, Sade, etc. I listen to all different genres of music. Oasis (I especially love their Definitely Maybe and (What's the Story) Morning Glory? albums), Nirvana, Metallica (their Black Album is great), 80s music!!, Sting, and more. Music is such an important part of my life. I grew up playing the piano and violin.
Movies:
Lord of the Rings! The Sixth Sense, Scarface, Seven, Shawshank Redemption, hmm I see a pattern with the letter S. The very first movie I watched in a movie theater was E.T. "I'll be right here" ALWAYS gets me. *choke* Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (the first one) is a childhood favorite. Yeah, don't make fun of me. That movie rocks. The Birdcage with Nathan Lane, Robin Williams, and Hank Azaria always cracks me up. I love watching comedies. It's always great to have a good laugh. I used to not like horror movies, but I'm starting to like some. I'm still a wuss though. I need a guy who'll hold me when I watch them in a movie theater lol. I'm such a dork.
Television:
The Office (Jim and Pam 3), CSI (the first and original one in Las Vegas), Heroes, Ugly Betty, Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, Dexter, The Simpsons, Family Guy, What Not to Wear, Nip/Tuck, The First 48, the Yankees!, boxing, basketball (my poor Knicks), and tons of other shows...
Books:
Of Mice and Men, Catcher in the Rye, He's Just Not That Into You
Heroes:
My parents! They met and married in Canada, came to America and had me. They owned a little delicatessen when I was a baby. My parents have worked hard all their lives. They came to Long Island and had my brother. Then they bought a 7-Eleven and have been managing it for about 20 years. I hope one day I can give back what they have given to me. I can never be grateful enough for the life they have given me. I love them so much!!
