Hunting, Fishing, Ice-Fishing, Fourwheeling (John Deere Buck ftw), Building things/welding, Farming, Driving and listening to the radio, Baseball, Football, Rifles, and most things related to the military (So many things I want)...
Who I'd loved to have met? Well. Theodore Roosevelt. Quentin Roosevelt. Ronald Reagan. Neil Armstrong. Anyone in the armed forces (thank you).
"You talk about Japanese technocracy and you get radios. You talk about German technocracy and you get automobiles. You talk about American technocracy and you will find men on the moon - not once, but several times - and safely home again." - Gordon Sinclair, Canadian journalist
Oldies, Country, Metal, Rock, Classic Rock, anything really... Randy Rogers Band, Reckless Kelly, Cory Morrow, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Glenn Campbell, Roy Orbison, Barry McGuire, Alabama, Alice Cooper, Asia, Bob Seger (LIKE A ROCK!), Boston, Box Tops, Brad Paisley, Brooks and Dunn, Children of Bodom, Collin Raye (Little Rock!), CCR, Diamond RIO, DIO, The Drifters, Eddie Money, Eric Church, Garth Brooks, Gene Chandler, Greg Kihn Band, Gunther and the Sunshine Girls (Yes!), Hank Jr., Head East (!), Jason Aldean, John Mellencamp, Johnny Horton, John Denver, Lionel Cartwright, Neil Diamond, Neil Young, Rammstein, REO Speedwagon, Scorpions, Steve Earle, Tom Jones even, Willie Nelson, etc. etc... AND they need more farmer's songs...All of it, and then those weird songs you blast while driving through other towns... Oh, and trance isn't too bad, hehe. And the National Anthem played by KQLX as they sign off the air at sundown. There is nothing in this world more beautiful than a North Dakota sunset punctuated by the dusty haze of soybean harvest creating a golden glow accompanied by our National Anthem. Every time it happens I'm in the grain cart facing west and when it happens I usually nearly choke up (hey now! I can't help it, I'm too patriotic) its the perfect combination for me.
Anything really (funny, serious, military-related, sci-fi, whatever it is as long as it draws me in), and yes, I did get damn drawn into the Notebook (damn Stick telling me to watch it)...
Who's Line, That 70s Show, History Channel! Military Channel! I usually don't watch television much any more, and I like Cops for some reason...

"The Wilderness Hunter" - Theodore Roosevelt... I got this as a gift while I was in the hospital in Minneapolis and I didn't read it much there because with all the painkillers I was on, I was having the sweetest dreams in my life (Morphine-induced dreams... ROCK... And scare me, I don't think any normal dream you can have a battle royale with your dad ]which also involves rusty rakes, birdcages, grain trucks, a crazy sniper guy hiding in the engine compartment of a grain truck, nearly get shot in the head with a shotgun but somehow my IV bag saved me...], get shot three times in the stomach and continue to fight with one hand holding your intestines... And then peel off your face to reveal you're actually a famous actress [wtf...]. Yeah, I wish I could have those dreams again.) and because I tended to sleep or get wheeled around in a wheelchair. That and physical therapy. Anyways, that's an awful lot to write to explain a book... Wait. I should write my own book, I bet that awesome dream I had would be perfect (did I mention it started out with me in my little pickup driving in Western ND before seeing a sign advertising stunt rides in OV-10 Broncos and after my weird stunt flight [which had the four {Yes there were four pilots} pilots screaming at me] there was suddenly a blizzard with hundreds of stranded grain trucks stranded in the snow along a highway... Yes I do believe it'd make a good book.
Uncle John for his heroic charge to the corn... "GET IN THE CORN!" And Theodore Roosevelt, Quentin Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan.
