About Me

The Sandy Hills based band The Kick Tracies like cool popsongs, sing-a-long refrains, haunting hooks and snaring riffs. In the past they've performed their powerful and energetic popsongs on stages such as Charlatan, Boom Boom, Den Hemel, Gentse Feesten, Suikerrock, Ancienne Belgique, Artbei Festival (NL), Cavern Club Liverpool (UK) and Zandbergen, amongst others. They released an album RADIO GTI (Fuzz Records/Zomba) as Art Toi? in 2004 that got some media attention and nice reviews. Singles "Madsion Fox" and "Double Speed Corsa" got airplay on Studio Brussel and Pure FM.. "Madsion Fox" made it to the TMF compilation album "Essentieel Belgisch". In 2006 they change their from Art Toi? to The Kick Tracies. Thijs, Kris, Koen and Bram have ambitions beyond The Kick Tracies and play in several other splendid groups such as Arquettes, Tokota and Zender. In 2008 they take a break to focus on these bands. The Kick Tracies might return once in a while ....
