Music:
I like a lot of different music. Depends on what I feel like hearing at the moment. Overall, though, hard rock and heavy metal seem to dominate my collection. I still love the early 80's metal bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Accept, etc. But I also like a lot of newer bands like Dream Theater, Helloween, Angra and tons of others you've probably never heard of - most of them not from the US.I also love recording my own stuff for fun and profit. Well, for fun anyway.
Movies:
I can watch just about anything, but I have always loved horror movies. And I really love bad, cheesy horror movies and black comedies that are over the top. My current favorite is an independent movie named Plaga Zombie: Mutant Zone from made by a few guys down in South America. It's freakin' fantastic! Very much in the style of early Peter Jackson and made with an amazing amount of creativity.
Television:
I don't watch a lot of TV, but I've gotten hooked on 24. I also like The Ultimate Fighter, The Office, and My Name is Earl currently. I love The Family Guy too. I'm also somewhat of a news junkie, but mainly get my fix online.
Books:
I love to read and usually am in the middle of several things at once. Lots of magazines (mainly music and horror related). I'm currently working through the Stephen King books I haven't read yet. I've always enjoyed his style.
Heroes:
It may be trite but I gotta give props to Jesus here. I mean c'mon! In that same light, I also admire anyone who willingly risks their lives to save or better others' lives. My Mom, Dad and Grandfather have also been great influences. And, when you think about it, we are surrounded by everyday heroes that go unrecognized for the most part. You never know when a simple gesture of appreciation might make a life or death difference to someone.
