I will go for a guy with decent values (respect, honesty and loyalty being most important), manners, someone who doesn't play mind games, isn't afraid to show he cares and loves his family! I'd like a man I can trust and genuinely call my friend. I'm very much a modern woman but with traditional views when it comes to romance.
I'm healthily independent but looking for someone who'd share my ideals for life. Someone with passion and ambition who understands about 'wanting more out of life...'! Oh, and I'd need to find him irresistibly attractive, of course!! Hehe... I wouldn't necessarily need him in my life, but I want him - there's a difference! Too many people rely on their partner for their happiness - I believe we create our own and another person shares/compliments it for the better alongside their own! I'm pretty open-minded about movies but do love thrillers most of all, from the sexy kind (Fatal Attraction) to the psychological kind (The Green Mile and Shawshank Redemption) and the just plain excellent (What Lies Beneath). Then, love stories like Titanic and The Notebook (HOW fabulous is that film?!) and chick flicks like Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing, Bridget Jones and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. A girl's gotta have her feel-good factor (even if the men never exist in real life LOL)!!! Anyway... loads more and far too many to list them all!! (If I'm watching horrors I'd like a gorgeous man to cuddle up to! hehe)

I love to read... I tend to enjoy novels written by the likes of Adele Parks or Jane Green (feel-good girlie escapism!)... but definitely also appreciate the talent of authors such as Dan Brown!
