Yesterday;s Child

bringing groovy back...one gig at a time.

About Me

The clamor for 'more more more!' has been relentless so we do what we must... for the children. ____________________________________________________________ __________..
YESTERDAY'S CHILD formed in late 2000 the way most bands come together; couple guys jamming in the garage. They saw it was good and so they invited a couple more friends and lo, more goodness.
Since then we've had the good fortune to continue performing at some of the area's best rock clubs including The Cat Club, Paladino's, Sagebrush Cantina, BB King's, The Lighthouse Cafe and House Of Blues. Live music... it's the best.
The Child pays tribute to classic rock works from 1965 to 1975, what we consider to be the 'Golden Decade'. Hendrix, Cream, The Who, Rolling Stones, Spirit, Joe Walsh, The Animals, Amboy Dukes, Neil Young there's so much incredible, mind and spirit altering stuff, how could we stick to one band!
We hope you enjoy our first in a series of special tribute evenings highlighting some of the giants of that period, and so we begin with CREAM.
Keep checking back here to see more clips and pics, find out where we're playing and what the next tribute show will be. Feel free to leave comments, send messages, enjoy the noise we make and our 'space' as you like, but above all please make friends and go out to support live music!
