Sounds Like: this field is going to be a pain in the ass to fill. I mean, I just want to say 'it sounds like nothing you've heard before'. But that is obviously bullshit. Perhaps a better field heading would be 'things it'll make you think of'. And in that field, with that heading, I would write 'Miami beach after a hurricane, when all you see is driftwood on the streets and palm trees on top of old cars. A girlfriend you once loved but no longer have her number. A girl trapped in the jungle hills of Colombia, kidnapped by the guerrilla. Your dog waking you in the middle of the night, licking your forehead. Getting home after the club after drinking like you lived in a desert and all you can do is lie at the entrance of your apartment under the piano, as you watch the world spin by,' things like that. And I was going to describe the new album, I'd say it is about all the girls that have made a dent in my life. A song for each girl pretty much...
