My beloved doggie Franklin, picture soon to follow. Although he has gotten us introuble with the Landlord on more than one occasion, I love him to death. My husband Jon has a really funny blog about him on his page.
Ellen Degeneres, too funny. George Clooney, so that he can whisk me off to his villa in Italy. Angelina Jolie, so I can touch her lips to see if they are real, my bet is they're made of ear wax. Brad Pitt, so I can just touch his...stomach, yeah stomach. And lastly my Grandma Barber, she died before I was born (I know that she doesn't really fit with the rest of them but at least I am genuine).
This is the section where you begin to discount me a a big geek... oh well, I'm married. At the moment my favorite CD is Michael Buble "It's time." He and Josh Groban are tied for the man who can make me melt with a single note. Damien Rice has a pretty hot voice too. Anything by Stephen Sondhiem or Rodgers and Hart. Norah Jones and Sarah Maclachlan for a long shower or a soak in the tub (please get any picture out of your head of the three of us in the tub!). The Keane CD rocks, but after a while I think that the songs all seem to run together. The Garden State CD is up there as possibly the best soundtrack of all time along with the Forrest Gump Soundtrack. And last but definitely not least, the Boss... Bruce Springstein and the E Street Band. After going to their concert at Dodgers Stadium where they played three hours straight with no breaks, I became a Bruce addict. Best concert ever!
When Harry Met Sally, Beauty and the Beast and Shadowlands.
To spare you I'll just put what is on my Tivo right now: Kathy Griffin Life on the D-list, House, Bones, Lost and Star Trek the Next Generation.
All time favorite, Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden (the only book I have read more than once). Good Grief by Lolly Winston (the one book I've read that when you read a passage out loud to your friends they will laugh just as hard as you did). Nancy Drew (from fourth grade to seventh grade that is all I would read). Streetcar Named Desire by Tenesee Williams (Stella! Stella!). Lastly, Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts (the movie doesn't even begin to do the book justice).
Jesus. Hey, the dude can walk on water.
