Hey I'm Kris and I'm here to show you all what I have learnt in my life, so far, by living it through music and the inspiration I have used to write it from the moment my Dad gave me a guitar.
The album you can view and will be listening to is the product of all of this I have experienced since that moment, which now means so much more to me as my Dad passed away about a year and a half ago from lung cancer at a very young age.
I spent 3 months with him in the hospital on a mattress they allowed me to stay on so I didn't have to leave him. Everyday I thought of ways to make him better and to write and sing more inspirational ideas to him. A lot of the ideas came from this time fused with all the other things I had experienced with him.
After Dad passed it took me a few months to get things together and to fly back out to the states to finish the album. I couldn't think of a song for months for Dad to put on the album then one morning I woke with a song in my head and this became the song "The Way You Loved".
I have dedicated the album to my Dad and of course my Mum who has endured so much through this. This is my craft and I use inspirational times to create my art. All of the songs are a memory, a part of my life I wanted to record, in music, for others to listen to so they can relate and feel like they're not the only one on the world going through tough times because, lets face it, those are the times we need to be lifted.
This album is in honor of the people in your life who you live for. Who you would do anything for.
