Socialising with friends... Healthy debate... Spending time with my family... Having a laugh with my other half... Meeting up with my little sister... Watching a good film... Reading a good book... Listening to good music - and hey my definition of good is broad to say the least!... Watching trash TV... Whiling away the hours surfing the net when I should be working... Anti War rallies... Retail therapy... Shoes... Bags... Accessorizing... Travelling with friends to far off places... Sex,drugs and rock'n'roll - need I say more...What I can't stand...racism, bigotry and lies.
New friends from wherever they may come to broaden my horizons and interests...People who've seen life and experienced things I never have or never will (never say never my good fairy tells me!)...And people who are embarking on a life of adventure and wild abandon!
Too many to list here but if it's recommended by someone I love and trust I'm always willing to give it a go! My musical tastes can vary wildly from the great and good to the downright embarrassing...but I don't care - if I like it then what does it matter what the world thinks! Current listening on my iPod includes rock'n'roll, indie, northern soul, ska, motown, blues, pop, country...need I go on? Variety is the spice of life they say....
Not so much of a fan of cinema anymore...overpriced and full of irritating people who either block the view or keep kicking the seat...! But I love a good film...psychological thrillers especially. Ever expanding DVD collection to prove it...
Probably watch too much trash TV as it is.....but nothing better than a cup of coffee, chocolate biscuits and a good old trashy american teen soap to cure a creeping hangover...(I know I shouldn't like them but I do!) I'm also partial to a well produced drama with a twist...dark and dangerous is how I like 'em!
If it's got a good hook I'm there. Most recently read Beautiful Child, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night, The House of Sleep, The Memory Keepers Daughter, Smashed:Diary of a drunk girl, Beautiful Child and currently reading A Piece of Cake.
Elvis.......what more can I say that you may want to hear!? Ok so he's a childhood 'hero' of sorts for me...awakening many fond memories but not in the true sense of a hero I guess.A hero to me is one who stands up for the underdog, stands by his beliefs in order to better this world of ours...there are many but I fear this world needs more! However after saying all that I'd have to say my Mum is my main hero(ine)!
