I'd like to meet:
If you are a dreamer, come in,
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,
A hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer...
If you're a pretender, come sit by my fire
For we have some flax-golden tales to spin.
Come in! Come in!
-Shel Silverstein
You.
People easily amused.
People who do not suck.
People different than me.
People wanting to explore.
People with shared interests.
People who want to get a pint.
People with a misanthropic bend.
People who have a heart to share.
People who are culinarily adventurous.
People wanting to see a sunrise on the lake.
Nobody.
Guess it depends on the day.
Music:
I f'n love music. I really think that is the easiest way to put it, albeit crude. Really the only thing that could make it better is if I could play it. Songs bring me back places, conjure up places long ago lost, they even have the ability to make me wonder sometimes if what my mind created really happened.
I love listening to it as background noise, I love listening to it quietly with no other distractions to the point where if someone were to ask me what I was doing, the music is what I am doing. And of course I love blasting it to the point where I think my ears can take no more. Music is best enjoyed alone or with friends. Apply liberally at home or in social settings.
Music is beautiful, powerful, and terrible all at once. Who of us has not thrown a CD across the room in a fit of anger or despair at what the music did to us? But then there are times where it moves us with such joy.
I f'n love music.

Movies:
I am a fan of Sci-Fi/Fantasy, B/Cult, Horror and Psychological Thrillers (good ones), and Comedies preferably of the absurd variety. Also enjoy Documentaries, too. Especially when they are about some topic that one does not normally think about. Like the one I once saw about Amish kids.
I do not get to see as many as I would like. Probably because most new movies are shite. I know a lot of folks that are involved in movies. Which gives me hope for the future of film. Call it bias if you want.
My (almost complete) DVD collection at DVDspot.com .
Television:
Brit: AbFab, Black Books, Coupling, Doctor Who, Hex, IT Crowd, Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes, Monty Python, The Office, Torchwood, Wire in the Blood. If Stephen Moffat, Verity Lambert, Russell T Davies or French and Saunders are involved I will probably enjoy it.
American: Arrested Development, Bones, The Cubs, Eureka, House, Law & Order, The Office, PBS, The Simpsons.
I
Books:
Currently reading Augusten Burroughs's "Sellevision" and I am enjoying it.
Additionally, as of late my primary non-fiction tastes lean toward food history (why we eat what we eat) and gender/sexuality (why we eat who we eat). I guess that is a nice way to say I read about food and sex...
Heroes:
The Little Prince; people who put up with other people; the inventor of Italian Ice...
