Playing several instruments in school, He transformed into the electronic age with synthesizers and drum machines and samplers.
As a musical pioneer on the west coast, Digi Dave helped out launching several carreers of the west coast rappers.
Yes the first ones on the west coast was Ice-T, The Egyptian Lover, Uncle Jams Army, The L.A. Dream Team, Bobby Jimmy and the Critters, The Wreckin Crew and The Unknown DJ. Later Came a number of groups and talented rappers.
Digi Dave played a major part in the birth of what we know now as West Coast Hip Hop.
From the late 70's into now, the skills have been taught to many on the west.
From His Big Brother, "The Egyptian Lover", to close freinds, "Snake Puppy" from the L.A. Dream Team, To several emerging rappers of the futer. Digi Dave is a one man musical master mind.
Producing, Arranging, Composing, Writing, Performing, Engineering and dont forget Consulting...
He is a milestone, Pioneer, Creator and Scientist of what is known today as West Coast Hip Hop.
