When I get to feeling better when I'm feeling no pain

About Me

My life is pretty simple- I'm here to live, not just exist. I have a killer job because I only work 10 days a month (48 hr shifts) and it's fun too!! This gives me free time to experience the world and all that it has to offer. My friends and family are my passion because we stay dynamic and travel to always continue growing and learning. The environment has so much to offer and my recent passions are training for triathlons and being outdoors and also traveling to Portugal and finding my roots! Good times, freedom! Stay out of social/political norms and people that don't take care of themselves or respect others, have fun with the people you know and love, meet others with the same passions.

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

My Interests

Being outdoors- hiking, beach, camping, exploring, soccer, snowboarding, biking, swimming, boating- as long as I'm with my friends and my dog it's a blast! Reading, writing, playing music (guitar, harmonica or sax) or at any live music concerts, Positive vibrations!

Music:

Music is the soundtrack to the crappy movie that is my life! My favorite artist is a toss up between Ben Harper (deep, powerful, soulful) and G. Love and Special Sauce (hip-hop/blues/reggae fun). Otherwise I listen to everything from Bob Dylan and folk/blues stuff to reggae to rap and pop. Depends on my mood, but the lyrics must have some meaning...

Movies:

Epics- Tombstone, Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, Braveheart, any laugh your ass off comedies like Office Space or the 40 year old Virgin, Random Ass movies that rock like Napolean Dynamite and anything with lots of action and magic. For some reason I always have to watch Blade every now and again- it just rules!

Television:

There's too much to do outside but I always watch sports mainly and lots of movies- Not big on sitcoms or "reality" TV. It ain't really my reality...

Books:

I read a ton of books- from fantasy novels like Terry Brooks/Tolkien, to Tom Clancy to Stephen King and Dean Koontz. Anything I can read I do, lately Jazz history books, Jack Kerouac's On the Road and Bob Dylan's Chronicles come to mind as influencing me.

Heroes:

Everyone I hang out with

My Blog

Friends
