About Me
Just an average guy married to the Superdiva. I was born November 21, 1965. My parents divorced when I was about 7 years old and I was enrolled in a British style boarding school called Chartwell Manor. I attended Chartwell from third grade until ninth grade. In 1979, I traveled to Europe for the first time with the school and had a fantastic time. Thereafter, I went to navel military school, namely Admiral Farragut Academy, in St. Petersburg, Florida. I graduated number one in my class and had the opportunity to go to either the Navel Academy or West Point, but turned down both appointments because neither school offered the curriculum that I wanted to study.I attended George Washington University undergraduate program starting in 1983 and graduated with a degree in international politics in 1987. While in college in Washington D.C., I had the opportunity to work for Senator John Glenn and Senator Bill Bradley. From 1985 to 1986, I spent a year studying in Rome, Italy at the Loyola Rome Center which is affiliated with the University of Rome, and yes I am fluent in Italian. While living in Italy, I was able to travel throughout Europe and North Africa extensively. I was even able to tour Moscow and Leningrad while the Soviet Union was still in existence. I graduated in the top two percent of my class at George Washington University and was awarded two outstanding academic achievement awards upon graduation.Thereafter, I attended the National Law Center at George Washington University and obtained my Juris Doctor in 1990. While in law school, I worked for the United States Department of Justice, United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, Misdemeanor Trial Section. My job included prosecuting animal abuse cases and maintaining the caseload of the misdemeanor trial section.After graduating law school I obtained a job with a defense oriented litigation firm which specialized in complex civil and criminal cases. In 1992, I was appointed General Counsel to the Democratic Caucus of the New Jersey General Assembly in Trenton, New Jersey. As General Counsel my responsibilities included acting as counsel to the General Assembly Judiciary Committee, representing members and staff in front of the legislative ethics committee and providing legal counsel and advice to members and staff in the General Assembly of the state legislature.In 1992, I also ran for local political office as a candidate for Committeeman in Union township, Union County, New Jersey. Committeeman, by the way, is the equivalent of a Councilman. I was elected to the local governing body and served as a Committeeman for a three year term and was re-elected as a Republican to the township committee in 1995. While serving on the local governing body, I acted as Police Commissioner, Commissioner of Public Works and finally Deputy Mayor in the township. All the while I have maintained a local law practice which I started in July of 1993 and continues. In 1999, after declining to run for a third term of office, I was asked by the governing body to serve as Municipal Court Judge. In January of 2002, I was reappointed to serve a second term as Municipal Court Judge and served as a Municipal Court Judge until the end of 2004. As a Municipal Court Judge, I had jurisdiction over all minor traffic offenses, all minor criminal offenses, all minor drug offenses and domestic violence.I am married to Superdiva Diane Prior and we were married in Mexico in July of 2005. We had a fantastic wedding in Cancun Mexico with our immediate family and friends in attendance. Thereafter, we honeymooned at Las Ventanas in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We have a daughter named Holly, a mutt named Thachter and a Rottweiler named Romeo. The Rottweiler serves as protection for the numerous stalkers Diane has. Between the two of us, I have the record with stalkers though with my stalker hanging on for 12 years and running. Diane beats me though in terms of the number of stalkers.I am an avid weightlifter who can dead lift 500 lbs., bench press 330 lbs., leg press 1100 lbs. and squat 365 lbs. I was also involved competitive martial artist, but have not competed in the past few years. I am also a certified scuba diver. But enough about me. I am really not as boring as I sound. Afterall, would the Superdiva have married a boring guy?
