Terminator

Beginning as nothing more than a concept when it was first thought of,Terminator has come to stand for much more than originally expected.The group was formed in the late 2005,however the true roots of Terminator date back to the the mid-late 90's,when David(Drums) and Ben(Guitar,Vocals) got a few people together to form a group called Zymotica-which was a 5 piece with 2 guitar players and a stand alone vocalist,recorded a demo called "Rival Fatality",(in a studio which was torn down for parking for a baseball field)-the group went on to play one show and had a minute following-only later to break up due to creative differences growing among the existing members.Many years would pass(about 5 give or take) before the true nucleus of Terminator was to fuse.Not content to sit idle -The Duo of Ben and David had honed their skills over these dormant years-after which they began to arrange a piece of music that would later be entitled "Redemption through Destruction".However the two fell out again.David went on to play with a few other groups-one of them being "Into-Nothing" ,and the other a band called "Arkane"-which featured current Terminator bassist Tyler Lewis and his brother Adam on guitars.Arkane played some shows before disbanding-Adam and Tyler would leave Arkane to join up with Ben and David who assumed the name Zymotica once more.During this time they used material which Adam had compiled and whipped it up into a composition of Death-Thrash mayhem, and a piece of music written by Ben which later became entitled "The Legacy".Yet more complications were to come.Obligation and attitude overwhelmed.this would be the last time Zymotica was used to identify any of the members.It was at this time Tyler would join up with Toledo metal act None so Vile,which was playing many shows around the Toledo area.Meanwhile,David hooks up with the Into-Nothing crew for one last effort.Both wash away and with a clean slate, Ben, David, and Tyler give the shit another whirl.Terminator forms ,and to make this long story a bit shorter,goes on to record the 6 track demo entitled the "The Legacy" (which is our first venture in recording/mixing/production)-and to play a few shows exhibiting years of refinement and delivering the sonic assault that any extreme metalhead can appreciate...
