My Interests

Lets see, I have a lot of interests, many of which have now changed. I used to more or less strive to please others before myself..I know focus on myself because I know no one else can do it better than I. Writing has become my top priority and look forward to seeing my name of the top best selling lists...And if you dont know by now, you can spot me at any local Starbucks. They know me by name!

I'd like to meet:

Ive already met John Legend...Now Im working on meeting Pharrell. He is immensely talented. Everyone needs that special muse to inspire them right?? Well, he doesnt have one since he has yet to meet me!! Also anyone involved in the writing business( someone not aspiring but published!). Id love to have someone to touch bases with.I believe that the person Im meant to be with is someone that Ive already crossed paths with. So until that special day when we can be together forever..just know that Im getting ready for whats to come and the anticipation is only making the wait sweeter..

Music:

Call me a critic. I listen to a little bit of everything!! Even country works for me!! I tune in to the beats of most songs then I focus on the lyrical arrangement. If the song contains both elements then it passes the test in my eyes... Look at Pharrell...Hes done beats for everyone in every genre and I love every song and beat!That being said, Im a huge fan of Prince, Indie Arie, Donnell Jones, the Isley Brothers, and things of that nature.

Movies:

School Daze has to be the best movie in my eyes!! I fell in love with a man that in my eyes, looks just like Carlos Espisito..Whew! Im soo not letting that man go! And you know who you are.. Second would be the original Carmen Jones, not the watered down and soooo horrible Beyounce version! Call me corny but I like the old school lessons with songs to reinterate and stress a lesson thats meant to be taught.

Television:

When I am at home I enjoy every cartoon channel. And at night Im awake watching Adult Swim. Family Guy and the Boondocks tend to make my day go a lot smoother! But when Im ready to act my age then Im known to watch CSI or the Animal Channel. Theres always something new to learn there.

Books:

Thats a toughie. I like Iceberg Slim as a writer so most of his books appeal to me. I also love Dean Koontz, James Patterson, and Zora Neale Hurston. Out of those writers, my preference would be "Their Eyes Were Watching God"...
