I am here for Friends

About Me

"religion is 'if you obey, then you will be accepted'. But the Gospel is, 'if you are absolutely accepted, and sure youre accepted, only then will you ever begin to obey'. Those are two utterly different things. Every page of the Bible shows the difference." -- Tim Keller.I was born in New Jersey, grew up in Pennsylvania. I love music, i love food (cooking/eating/viewing on tv), and i love theology/philosophy. I was diagnosed with Lymphoma in September '05, and I'm still fighting it. I have a lot of people I consider close friends, but I love my sister and brother more than anyone. I have really been thinking about how, what i spend money on, is what i support, and so I try and stay away from anything factory farmed, as well as things made in china for 2 cents an hour, or large corporations who are outsourcing jobs to other countries so they can pay them 2 cents an hour. God is, more than anything, the reason I'm alive (In him we live and move and have our being!), and the only thing I can place my trust in fully. I want to change people's lives... I want to change america (post-modernism can suck it). i am also very much nothing, though i think i try too hard to look cool and smart, and ironically, even humble. we need to live for others.

You scored as Reformed Evangelical

You are a Reformed Evangelical. You take the Bible very seriously because it is God's Word. The most important thing the Church can do is make sure people hear how they can go to heaven when they die.
