The music Cons chooses to work with (and produce himself) brings real emotion to the canvas he writes on, from the beautiful first track "Each day…" to the end of the LP. The sound of this album is all about samples, dusty breaks, jazz and R&B - it maintains the heritage of sample based hip hop. Conspicuous emcees with a conscious honesty and openness that could almost seem at odds with his East London patter and swagger. It's this honesty that makes him a compelling and charismatic emcee. The concept of the "Family Photo Album" is explored with depth and you get to know his family. "Each day…" and "Portrait" bring you into Cons's heritage. His lifestyle and choices are examined in "Fish, Chips & Kebabs" and "One of them days" and both tracks are haunting mixing trademark LG production with the journey Conspicuous sees his life as a man becoming. The LP doesn't take itself too seriously either - Willo Wispa from the Colony appears with the most off key and surreal skit..comic genius.
