Revenge always comes at a price.
October Eleven Pictures presents
3Crosses
3Crosses is a remarkable new Irish motion picture, an uncompromising vision of life on the edge from award-winning filmmakers October Eleven Pictures.
Jonnie and Jay Linski are siblings with a heavy cross to bear – the brutal murder of their beloved little brother, Danny. Left reeling in the aftermath of this vicious crime, the Linskis seek solace on society’s fringes; older brother Jay indulges in violent criminal behaviour, while Jonnie exorcises his demons as a bare-knuckle fighter.
Jonnie brutally pounds his way to the top of the illegal fight game.
An opulent lifestyle and the love of a good woman goes some way to anaesthetise the pain he feels over the loss of his brother - that is, until, he overhears a conversation implicating Jay and a rival, Neville Jessoppe, in Danny’s murder.
By turns unpredictable, fast-paced, action-packed, grimly violent, humorous and thought-provoking, 3Crosses pulls no punches.
Filmed in Ireland and the USA, 3Crosses is directed by Jason Figgis and produced by Jonathan Figgis. It stars up and coming Irish actors Emmet Scanlan, Maria Manton, Karl Hayden and Spanish actress Marian Araujo, with an extraordinary supporting cast that features a host of international talent including Jonathan Hyde, Bill Fellows, Samantha & Omero Mumba, Keith Duffy, Damien Dempsey and Caprice Bourret.
3Crosses is the first fictional feature from sibling duo The Figgis Brothers aka director Jason Figgis and producer Jonathan Figgis, the acclaimed filmmakers behind such documentaries as the IFTA nominated ‘The Twilight Hour’ and Sky One’s Uri’s Haunted Cities: Venice. The company is currently developing a broad slate of exciting new feature and documentary projects."Gritty barefisted cruelty in the dark and shadowy world of this Figgis Brothers creation...a romping rollercoaster of blood and violence...not for the faint-hearted"
