We're an early reggae band from Portugal. Early Reggae is the first type of reggae that appeared, back in the late 60's. Like almost every Jamaican band from that time, we tend to incorporate black American music on our sound such as soul, funk and rock'n'roll. The members come from the region of Lisbon and play in bands such as Contratempos and Skacofonia.
Our main influences go from the late 60's sound in Jamaica, well represented in groups like Toots & The Maytals, The Uppsetters, Lloyd Charmers & The Hippy Boys or Dave Barker & Ansel Collins, and end up with today's The Aggrolites and Los Granadians.
Our reggae may be as filthy as a sewer but we hope it doesn't stink that much!
