...World Saving PunkRock...

About Me

MyGen Profile Generator We are Wrex Everything, a newly reformed punkrock band moulded from the remains of punk kings Feedback. Feedback formed in 1999 and rocked everyones world...(and we mean everyone). The band went through a few members and some mega long breaks between shows until the lack of punk rock built up into like a powerful moss and erupted a sound that could rip the ears off an angry, yet heart-warming, Artic Wolf. The green smoke of this eruption cleared and what was left?.........WREX EVERYTHING
In the early days of Feedback Neil, Minks and ex-bass legend Phil Robinson gigged around the small circuit of Essex playing as a 3 piece, oozing punkrock, influenced by the likes of Blink 182 and Greenday. Though only being 15 and 16 at the time they found it hard to secure gigs at certain venues, limiting the amount of shows they could play. In 2001 "Feedback" were playing regularly at local venues, some further afield like the punk rock mecca that is Margate, and along the way finishing in thr top 3 of local rock contest at The Square in Harlow, Essex. Drawing a growing crowd, in July of 2001 they recorded their first EP, "Friendly Willys Bloated Pigeon". In 2002 the band's popularity with its teenage audience was ever present and the band decided the need to draw in a 4th member, long time fan and friend of the band, the guitarist with well known local punk band "Perfect Sense", Paul McCann.
With a new guitarist and new songs, Feedback continued to gig around Essex, winning a battle of the bands contest in the process, although half way into the year Phil departed the band to pursue other interests and was replaced by a fan, Matt Arnold.
With academic commitments pressing on the members of the band, gigs became less frequent, though they continued practicing and writing new music. In 2003 they recorded 'Shut up and Jump' and played a few shows before Neil and Minks departed to travel Australia for a year.
During their year away Neil and Minks performed acoustic sets of the bands best material frequently and created the infamous un-named side project now called "The Dangling Labios" who created the acoustic anthems, "The Scrot Song", and "Frog Song"
The band played one final show together in Margate, Kent supported by the talented Drawn2Scale in September 2004, though since then have kept their music to themselves.
In the summer of 2005 the band entered a new era, all reuniting to record the new "Wrex Everything" EP, 'Tales of Innisfail'. The EP was recorded in an empty Bungalow in Ramsdon Bellshouse, Essex, which was temporarily converted into a studio over a period of 7 days.
Now with a new name, new songs and a new EP Wrex Everything are looking to 2006 with high aspirations planning a tour of Southern UK in the summer.
Thanks to all who have shown interest in our band (Feedback/Wrex Everything) over the years and recently. Your support is highly valued and we fully intend to repay your kindness with the highest quality punk rock....
