About Me

Frequently Asked Questions:
Question: "Who are you?"
Answer: I'm me. I'm a person. My name is Rob (but you already know that part). If what you really mean is "why did you offer to be my friend?"...the answer is either that you requested to join my group and then I automatically sent you a friend invitation in return, or else I tried to invite you to my group but I got this page: "This person only allows friends for group invitations. Click here to go back and add them as friend", so I went back to your page and did that.
If neither of those things are true in your case, then I just saw you in someone's friend list or something, and decided to talk to you. I hope that's okay...this is a chat site.
Question: "Do I know you?"
Answer: That depends on what you define as "knowing" someone. If you joined my group, and if you define that as knowing who I am, then yes you know me. If you don't define that as knowing me, then maybe you don't know me. So only you can answer this question, not me.
Question: "Tell me about yourself"
Answer: I never know what to tell people when they ask that, because I don't know which things about me will interest them. I prefer learning about each other by having a conversation. You already know my age and location, and what I look like. Plus you have all these FAQs to learn from. So just talk to me like you would to someone you met at a party, and you'll learn more about me :-)
Question/Request: "Give me a comment"
Answer: I'd be happy to, as long as you aren't asking me to do that as soon as we meet. The purpose of comments is to tell everyone what kind of person you are, so you'll have to wait until I know you better.
Question: "Why did you start your group, Best MySpace Smiles ?"
Answer: I thought "what kind of group gets lots of members?", and the answer is: groups about who has the best looks. But I didn't like the idea of having a group about who has the best boobs or whatever, so I thought of smiles. The type of people who join groups about boobs are either slutty girls or horny guys, but the people who join my group are usually very nice :-)
Question: "How do you choose Smiles of the Week?"
Answer: I see someone with a great smile, and I add them to the end of the list. Then once a day, I go down the list and post one new picture from that list.
Question: "How do I upload my picture to the group?"
Answer: You can't. I'm the only one who can upload pictures to the group. If you're talking about the 7 pictures you see on the main page of the group, those are not "uploaded". I used html to display those pictures, but they are not stored in the group, they're stored in the profile of that person. If that person deletes their picture from their profile (or from Photobucket), it will disappear from the display in the group too.
Question: "Can I be Smile of the Week?"
(aka, "do I have a nice smile?" or "do you think my smile is good enough?")
Answer: I don't reply to those messages.

My Interests

Technology, science, science fiction, and making people smile :-)

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who's fun to talk to. What I admire in people is good morals, honesty, caring and sense of humour (and lack of arrogance and shallowness) ;-)

I don't want to meet people who judge others by shallow standards such as looks, race, gender, location, income, age, number of friends in their friend list, etc.

P.S. Having a lot of people on your friend list doesn't automatically mean that you aren't here to make real friends. Everyone to whom I send a friend invitation is someone who has joined my group and/or is someone who I'd like to get to know. So if you get a friend invitation from me, and you notice I have thousands of friends already, please don't assume that it means I'm not going to talk to you. I find it "safer" to send friend invitations before chatting with people on this site, because so many people on this site get mad at people just for saying hi. If for some reason you don't want to know me, just click "deny" on the friend invitation. If you click "accept", I'll assume it's safe to write to you :-)
