Man from the land of sky-blue waters

About Me

Imagine Johnny Cash fronting Dwight Yoakam's band, or Waylon Jennings fronting The Kentucky Headhunters, and you'll get an idea of the high-octane, country-rockabilly energy unleasehed by Lazy Ike and the Daredevils, an original, five-piece band based in Minneapolis, MN. Thrice nominated for a Minnesota Music Award, the band's further career highlights include: opening for George Jones; twice playing Minneapolis' world-famous club, First Avenue; playing for several thousand people on a floating stage at Stillwater, Minnesota's river-front Lumberjack Days; opening for Wayne Hancock, DaleWatson, Deke Dickerson; Big Sandy & the Fly Rite Boys; and recording its firs talbum, "Someday," at world-famous Sun Studioin Memphis, Tenn.
