Working to produce a CD with her hubby and percussionist in between sailing, snorkeling and just having fun!!!EQUIPMENT USED:
Mackie SR24-4 mixing console, Shure mics and headsets, Roland drums and V Drum module , Ensoniq SD-1, Mackie powered 15’s , Alesis ADAT and various effects and eq’s, Ovation acoustic, Steinberger bass, Ibanez S series electric guitar, bongos, African djembe drum, Fostex VF160 hard disk recorder and several drawers of unknown chords, ends, cables and whatchamacallits.THESE SONGS ARE POSTED IN SCRATCH VERSIONS AND NOT IN FINAL MIX STAGE. I’M WORKING ON THAT NOW.Song ideas don’t always arrive in perfection. I just haven’t had the time or opportunity to transform these songs into their finished version. Being held prisoner by the lack of perfection kept me from posting these in the past. But, here they are in their basic state, raw, bad notes and all. There is some freedom in that, you know? LOL!The gift of music should be shared despite the lack of professionalism or technique.Music is a gift in whatever form it presents itself. So, I offer these tunes up just the way they are.
Aloha Nui,Jennifer
Influences: Our love of music crosses all genres. Our son, K-Konnection (first one on friends list) awakened us to the driving beats of House and talented artists in the dance scene. DJ Dan opened our eyes even further as we were lucky to watch him during a performance at Rave on the Rocks at Red Rocks outside Denver. You can hear some of those influences in a few of my tunes.Women who rock my world are ladies like Linda Rondstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Pat Benatar, Lita Ford, Heart, Sade, Joss Stone and Faith Hill.Men who rock my world are men such as Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Los Lonely Boys and Bob Marley. The only genre I've not developed a taste for is opera - much to the disappointment of my mother...I tried...believe me.I have to mention my early childhood influences of the Boston Pops, all the classic waltzes (thanks to mom), Elvis Presely, Dolly Parton and the multitudes of Scottish bagpipe performances...not to mention all the old English pub tunes sang (rather drunkenly I might add) around open fires under the stars.
