You might think you've heard it all before; small town girl with big city dreams... blah, blah, blah... but Brianna Rhubee's story has a twist; she's actually making it all come true. She's the "girl most likely to" straight out of Windom, MN, growing up singing at every talent show and county fair in the state and winning most of them. By the time her teenage years came along she was winning all of them, including the Minnesota State Fair Contest in front of a crowd 10,000 strong. The latest country coup de grace was taking top honors at the Jackpot Junction Casino Talent Competition, walking away with a cool 4k. She also performs regularly at area nightclubs."The harder she worked, the luckier she got..." When Brianna isn't singing, she's busy nailing a 3.9 GPA at the Institute of Production and Recording, graduating as class Valedictorian and earning degrees in Audio Production and Engineering and Music and Entertainment Business. She writes much of her own music on the guitar and knows her way around a studio as well; her voice can currently be heard on several nationally broadcast TV and radio advertisements including the AmeriQuest Super Bowl spot.Brianna's musical influences come from the soulful side of classic roots music; from Bobbi Gentry and Emmylou Harris to Bonnie Raitt and Linda Ronstadt. She also takes inspiration from current acts like Patty Griffin, Lori McKenna, and Nickel Creek.Brianna Rhubee is her real name; she doesn't have to change it to become a star. As a matter of fact, she doesn't have to change a thing- she's already on her way.
