Siccness, was raised in Orange County California in the city of Santa Ana. Inspired by such hip-hop greats as 2pac, Canibus, & Brotha Lynch Hung, Siccness started rapping at the turn of the century with one of his long time friends. The first single off of his EP was titled “F**K The Cops†which gained a lot of praise from the underground community. The song targeted the law enforcement’s corruptness along with the government’s reluctance to intervene. Siccness then went on to release a bonus track titled Born & Raised featuring his fellow label mate Klipp. “Born & Raised†instantly became a hometown hit in the city of Santa Ana. Siccness then decided this was a good opportunity to release a double music video for the bonus track Born & Raised, that also was to include a mini video for his track “Warriorâ€. The videos gained over 1,300 plays in just 3 days and were an instant success.
